Important note for iPhone users

When sending SMS commands to the VSMS8 the messages must be sent as “Text Message” not “iMessage”.

There are 2 indications as to which method the iPhone is using to send messages, a line of text above the messages and the background colour of the message, iMessages are blue whereas text messages are green.

On the iPhone, to disable iMessages whilst sending commands to the VSMS8 go to Settings->Apps->Messages and turn iMessages off.
