Password Reset without SMTP

1. Hold onboard RESET button down for 15-20 seconds (until LED4 lights up)
2. Release
3. Log in to the DN4 on which you have held the button down. The username will be pw_reset and the password will be the onboard password. There is a time limit of 5 minutes before the pw_reset operator is disabled again.
4. You will be presented with a list of operators, existing operators can be enabled or disabled and have their passwords amended within this view. In addition you can add new operators.
5. When finished you must log out using the log out button. ​ ​
   
   

Password Reset with SMTP but without password reset email enabled

1. Hold onboard RESET button down for 15-20 seconds (until LED4 lights up)
2. Release
3. An email will be sent to the configured SMTP receiver email address containing the onboard password for the controller you logged into as well as the serial of that controller for easier navigation.
4. Log in to the DN4 on which you have held the button down. The username will be pw_reset and the password will be the onboard password. There is a time limit of 5 minutes before the pw_reset operator is disabled again.
5. You will be presented with a list of operators, existing operators can be enabled or disabled and have their passwords amended within this view. In addition you can add new operators.
6. When finished you must log out using the log out button. ​ ​
   
   

Password Reset with SMTP and enabled password reset email

1. Hold onboard RESET button down for 15-20 seconds (until LED4 lights up)
2. Release
3. An email will be sent to the configured SMTP receiver email address with the log in details for the pw_reset operator including a randomly generated password as well as the address of the controller for which the pw_reset operator was enabled for easier navigation.
4. Log in to the DN4 on which you have held the button down. The username will be pw_reset and the password will be on the email you received. There is a time limit of 5 minutes before the pw_reset operator is disabled again.
5. You will be presented with a list of operators, existing operators can be enabled or disabled and have their passwords amended within this view. In addition you can add new operators.
6. When finished you must log out using the log out button.
